”I'm Terry, I enjoy showing my Yogis a fun and effective method to get fit, where you never get bored, each session is different, keeping things fresh and vibrant.
Age 30 I was diagnosed with ADHD. Having a true passion for physical activities helps, however, I always felt that I was keeping extra active and moving fast either to run away from my thoughts, or trying to catch up with them. My journey over the past 20 years has been a whirlwind of exploration, from gym workouts and calisthenics to the intensity of Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, BJJ, rock climbing, skating, and many more. However, it was through the practice of Yoga that I found a profound sense of balance and inner peace, it’s holistic approach, captured my heart. Through consistent practice, I experienced not only the physical benefits but also the transformation of my mental landscape. It brought a sense of calm to my active mind and allowed me to find moments of true stillness.
Yoga Asana, has played a pivotal role in my life, enhancing my strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Whilst the Pranayama (breathe) technique has helped me with other factors, such as Asthma relief and enhanced lung capacity. More importantly, Yoga has provided a refuge for my mind, offering a sanctuary to switch off from the noise of our fast-paced world. Moones Khoshbakht began practicing yoga in 2006 and was drawn deeply into the Ashtanga tradition in 2012. What started as a physical discipline soon became a daily source of balance and transformation, guiding her through both challenge and growth. In 2017, after years of dedicated study, she received formal authorization to teach Ashtanga yoga from Sharath Yoga Centre (SYC) in Mysore, India.
Her teaching reflects the depth of her own journey — rooted in tradition yet adapted with care for the individual. She is passionate about making Ashtanga accessible and tailored to each student’s needs, emphasizing mindful breath, strength, and stability. Alongside her yoga practice, she holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts, which continues to inspire her creative and holistic approach to teaching. With over a decade of experience, she creates a supportive environment where students of all levels can explore, grow, and cultivate a sustainable relationship with yoga.
