“At times I’ve missed days, even weeks of practice, I remind myself that this is ok! Sometimes we are guided to focus our attention elsewhere, however, during these times I miss me! I feel alive on the mat. My body truly sings from within. And when I dedicate at least 5 to 10 minutes a day to my practice, I feel I have more love from within me to extend to others, my family, my friends, my community.
Having gained this understanding and adopted a daily Yoga routine, I now wish to extend this feeling of true freedom from within, to you, for the wellbeing of your body, your mind and your spirit. “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away” (Pablo Picasso).
Through Yoga I found my purpose. My gift is to assist you, watch you blossom. It brings me no greater joy than to see my students reach a point they considered impossible when we first meet, to see the pure happiness on their faces, the sense of accomplishment and utter peace”.

Meet your super energetic, Studio Manager Terry. He is full of life and love. What we love most about Terry is that he is wonderfully kind and approachable, he makes everyone feel welcome and happy.
”I'm Terry, I enjoy showing my Yogis a fun and effective method to get fit, where you never get bored, each session is different, keeping things fresh and vibrant.
Age 30 I was diagnosed with ADHD. Having a true passion for physical activities helps, however, I always felt that I was keeping extra active and moving fast either to run away from my thoughts, or trying to catch up with them. My journey over the past 20 years has been a whirlwind of exploration, from gym workouts and calisthenics to the intensity of Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, BJJ, rock climbing, skating, and many more. However, it was through the practice of Yoga that I found a profound sense of balance and inner peace, it’s holistic approach, captured my heart. Through consistent practice, I experienced not only the physical benefits but also the transformation of my mental landscape. It brought a sense of calm to my active mind and allowed me to find moments of true stillness.
Yoga Asana, has played a pivotal role in my life, enhancing my strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Whilst the Pranayama (breathe) technique has helped me with other factors, such as Asthma relief and enhanced lung capacity. More importantly, Yoga has provided a refuge for my mind, offering a sanctuary to switch off from the noise of our fast-paced world. I qualified as a personal trainer, pre-and post-natal, and Matt and reformer Pilates teacher 20 years ago and never looked back, fitness is my ultimate passion.

For our lovely Indira, Yoga is so much more than stretching, it's a way of life. But she firmly believes it should fit in around your life and not the other way around. "Some days I might do an hour of relaxing Yin, other days 20 minutes of dynamic Vinyasa. And when life gets really challenging, I might just listen to a Yoga Nidra recording in Savasana. We are constantly changing and our practice should reflect that.
Yoga helps me to be the best version of myself, it's as much a part of my daily routine as brushing my teeth. I've got so much from Yoga which is why I'm so passionate about spreading the benefits with others. I honestly believe that Yoga should be for everyone, not just the naturally bendy. We are all unique, no two bodies are the same and so one person's version of a Yoga pose might look and feel completely different to someone else's. Yoga is not about forcing your body into shapes and it's definitely not a competition so I invite my students to leave their ego at their door. Easier said than done but as the saying goes: 'Yoga isn't about touching your toes, it's about what you learn on the way down there.’ You might never do a handstand or the splits, but you can gain so much more: self acceptance and inner peace.”
Indira first discovered Yoga on the beach in India over 20 years ago and hasn't looked back since. She teaches many different styles including: Hatha, Vinyasa, Beginners, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Pregnancy Yoga, teen Yoga and Kids Yoga. As a former studio owner of “North London Yoga Studio”, Indira has a loyal local following. She is known for her nurturing and approachable style, clear explanations and enthusiasm.
